1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Rebill ("the Service"), operated by Tora Technologies (Pty) Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in South Africa, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rebill is an online invoicing and billing platform for South African businesses. The Service allows users to create, send, and manage invoices, accept online payments via third-party payment gateways, track expenses, and access related business tools. The Service is available on a free plan and a paid Premium plan at R99/month.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the security of your account credentials
Ensuring the accuracy of information you enter into the Service
Complying with all applicable South African laws including tax and VAT obligations
Using the Service only for lawful business purposes
Not sharing your account with unauthorised parties

4. Payment and Billing

The free plan is available at no cost subject to plan limits. The Premium plan is billed monthly at R99/month. Payment is processed via our payment provider. You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Tora Technologies (Pty) Ltd and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data and content you create using the Service.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy and our POPIA Compliance Policy. We process your data as described in those documents.

7. Third-Party Payment Gateways

The Service integrates with Paystack, Yoco, and PayFast to process payments. These are independent services with their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, fees, or errors. Payment gateway fees are charged by the respective provider and are not part of Rebill's pricing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Tora Technologies (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 3 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time from Settings (Subscription tab) or by contacting support. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days during which you may contact support to cancel the deletion, after which it is permanently removed.

Inactive free accounts: Free plan accounts that have had no login activity for an extended period may be scheduled for deletion. Before doing so, we will send a warning email. If you do not log in within 7 days of the warning, your account will be scheduled for deletion and your data permanently removed after 30 days. You can prevent this at any time by logging in. Premium accounts are not subject to this policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
